If you have not already realised it, Father’s Day in Ireland is coming up on Sunday June 17th. To help get you into thinking mode we identified some potential gift ideas for your dad this year.
For the sensory dad how about this lovely little wooden pot holder that you can give on its own or to add a personal touch you can add three pots of herbs. For me it would be lavender, rosemary and lemon balm. The lavender and lemon balm have a calming effect which makes it perfect for a tired stressed out dad. Rosemary is said to aid memory as well as delay baldness but don’t tell your dad.
We have plenty of other herbs available and can advise you if required.
For the wildlife loving dad you cant beat the sound of birdsong. For me one of the friendliest feathered friend is the Robin who watches me dig and will fly down once I have departed to see what delights they can feast upon.
We have a wide range of other wildlife products and even better is the fact that our suppliers use wood from FSC certified well managed timber, only use waterbased stains and paints for the safety of the animals, birds, bees and your dad.
What dad doesn’t like as mug of tea and a biscuit after a bit of gardening. The handy lid keeps the heat in and the bugs out and makes a handy plate for the biscuits.
And for those who still have no idea what to buy dad for fathers day we have gift vouchers which allows dad to choose for himself.
